1. Our policy
Let'sText respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512. We respond to valid notices of alleged infringement and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
2. Filing a takedown notice
A valid notice must include:
- Your full name, address, phone number and email
- Identification of the copyrighted work, with a URL where possible
- The location of the allegedly infringing material on Let'sText
- A description of the infringement
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for them
- Your physical or electronic signature
3. Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, send our Copyright Agent a counter-notice with your contact details, the URL of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake, your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district, and your signature.

5. False notices
Incomplete or bad-faith notices are disregarded. Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
